Yahoo Results: Where its Numbers Go? Resultados de Yahoo: ¿Adónde van sus números?
Yahoo posted its financial results of the last three months. It informed second-quarter net income fell 18.28 to $131.21 million, from $160.57 million, a year earlier. Its revenues were $1,798 million for the second quarter of 2008, a 6 percent increase compared to $1,698 million for the same period of 2007.

Apple, Between the Glory and the Ghosts Apple, entre la gloria y los fantasmas
Apple came to Wall Street with very good figures. It posted revenues of $7.46 billion, up 38% compared year-over-year. And Its net income was $1.07 billion, up 31% than a year ago. Despite the excellent results, some analysts didn't like the company forecast for the next months. Also somebody commented a rumor about a potential departure of Steve Jobs as CEO of Apple.

After the positive figures published by leading companies as Intel, IBM and Microsoft, the second week of the financial cycle begins with optimism. Oservers from Wall Street want to know if really the technology industry runs better than the rest of the economy. On Monday, they expect results from Apple, SanDisk, Logitech, Texas Instruments. After that Ericsson, Lexmark, Freescale Semiconductor, AT&T, Amazon.com, Baidu, EMC, Qualcomm, Sybase, Unisys, Xerox, Canon, Samsung Electronics, Ricoh and more.

Three Tech Giants in the Same Day Tres gigantes de la tecnología el mismo día
On July 17, three giants of different technology segments posted their financial results. Google grew 35% in net incomes. Elsewhere, IBM published growths of 22% in net incomes and revenues of $26.82 billion. And Microsoft reported net income of $4.3 billion and with a growth of 18% in sales. The results of these companies show the technology industry run better than the rest of the economy.

eBay: positive figures thanks PayPal eBay: números positivos gracias a PayPal
eBay posted its financial results of the quarter ended on June 30, 2008. Its revenues were $2.195 billion, up 20% year over year. Its net income was $460 million, up 22.49% compared with the same period of the prior year. The responsible of the auctions unit, Rajiv Dutta, will leave the company on October. The figures were less than the previous expectations. Again the PayPal's revenues helped to the total business.

Intel Posted Positive Figures and Optimism Intel publicó números positivos y optimismo
Intel posted its second quarter financial results of 2008 fiscal year with positive figures. Its revenues were $9.470 billion, up 9.10% year-over-year. Its net income was $1.601 billion, up 25% compared with the same period of a year ago. Paul Otellini, Intel's CEO, is optimist about the rest of the year.
